Happy New Year (again!)

Thursday, February 3 marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit in 2011. The date is determined by the movements of both the moon and sun, while the January 1 calendar new year is determined only by the sun’s winter solstice.

She replied, “He listens.” Mother Teresa’s answer reflects the knowledge that God was with her at all times. Creating a home that reminds a family of God’s presence can be challenging for those of us for which the language of faith doesn’t come easily, at least outside of Sunday liturgy.
