Celebrating February 2nd
Every year on February 2nd Christians celebrate the Feast of the Presentation, also called Candlemas. This day commemorates Mary and Joseph presenting the Christ child at the Temple, 40 days after his birth. To learn more about Candlemas, check out the two Building Faith articles below.

Does your church celebrate Candlemas or the Feast of the Presentation? What traditions or customs do you practice? Tell us in the comments, or email us at buildingfaithcmt@gmail.com. We’d love to share your traditions or ideas with the Building Faith audience!
