Finding the time to brush up on your skills, reflect upon your vocation, network with colleagues or find refreshment for your soul is an important part of being involved in Christian formation. Your continuing education not only provides new insights for you, it gives your congregation the opportunity to stretch and be enriched also.
Many professional organizations offer annual and regional conferences. Judicatories sponsor workshops and retreats. Continuing education time is work time, not vacation time!

Whether you are ordained or a lay person, Sundays are workdays and everyone needs a day off. Take the time for rejuvenation of your body, mind and soul.
