Christian Education Events Calendar

Wise men and women are always learning, always listening for fresh insights. Proverbs 18:14-16 (The Message)

Finding the time to brush up on your skills, reflect upon your vocation, network with colleagues or find refreshment for your soul is an important part of being involved in Christian formation. Your continuing education not only provides new insights for you, it gives your congregation the opportunity to stretch and be enriched also.

Many professional organizations offer annual and regional conferences. Judicatories sponsor workshops and retreats. Continuing education time is work time, not vacation time!

Here are a number of upcoming offerings to investigate. One might be calling to you!

Food for the Soul

Whether you are ordained or a lay person, Sundays are workdays and everyone needs a day off. Take the time for rejuvenation of your body, mind and soul. A retreat may also be what the doctor (and your spiritual director) ordered. A few suggested sites to find the place that may help nurture your spirit:

  • Map (of the world) in which you can find a retreat center from Spiritual Directors International.
  • Find the Divine offers a listing of retreat centers, monasteries and conference centers.

Looking for a spiritual director? Find one near you through Spiritual Directors International.

If you would like to have your Christian Education event (teacher training, conference, workshop, retreat, etc.) added to this calendar, send an e-mail to Sharon Ely Pearson spearson at cpg.org with details.
